Why Coxwell & Gain?

Because AI visibility is bigger than marketing.

Coxwell & Gain helps brands understand how Al sees, evaluates and recommends their products and service -AND- what it takes to become the obvious choice in the buyer's conversations with AI.

OUR STORY

From search results to
Al recommendations.

For more than two decades, our founder has worked inside and alongside enterprise organizations, helping brands earn visibility in search.

Then search changed. Buyers stopped simply asking, "Where can I find this?" and started asking AI what should I choose? Then buyers started understanding AI's capabilities, they have begun sking deep, contextually rich questions about their use cases, workflows, and needs.

Something important became clear: the reasons brands were being recommended—or left out—often had nothing to do with traditional search and GEO tactics. The answer might be buried in the product, customer experience, operations, reputation, evidence, or how the company was understood in the market.

Coxwell & Gain was founded to work on that bigger revenue risk.

THE PROBLEM

AI visibility has an ownership problem.

The teams responsible for AI visibility often don't control many of the factors that determine whether a brand gets recommended.

At most companies, no one owns the whole iceberg. Yet it's all vital to getting recommended. We refer to this as
The AI Visibility Jurisdication Gap

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Marketing can improve discoverability.
However, the entire company may need to

manage recommendability.

1
AI BEHAVES LIKE A BUYER CONSULTANT

When AI is advising, its responses are deep, contextual and often exceed the knowledge of sales staff.

WHAT WE BELIEVE IS TRUE
2
BRANDS EMIT SIGNALS THAT TELL A STORY

Every part of a company emits signals that communicate what it offers, who it serves and how well it delivers.

3
AI FORMS PERCEPTIONS FROM THOSE SIGNALS

AI uses those signals to form a picture of the brand—what it's known for, who it's right for, where it excels and where buyers may encounter risk.

4
AI PERCEPTIONS SHAPE RECOMMENDATIONS

What AI believes about a brand influences when it recommends it, who it recommends it to—and when it leaves it out.

The signals each brand emits are the AI's source of truth, and the majority of these sources do not come from marketing.

WHO WE WORK WITH

We work with brands that have
something worth recommending.
